ENL Students Make Donation to the Bowery Mission

Ms. Phelan's 7th and 8th grade ENL students have been working on a year-long project-based learning unit. There student-selected focus was on helping the NYC homeless. They raised $600 at a bake sale and collected large amounts of supplies and clothing through a school-wide drive.

Ms. Phelan's 7th and 8th grade ENL students have been working on a year-long project-based learning unit. There student-selected focus was on helping the NYC homeless. They raised $600 at a bake sale and collected large amounts of supplies and clothing through a school-wide drive. The donations were given to the Bowery Mission on Thursday, June 14th. The Bowery Mission was incredibly thankful!
